David Wargen

Director

A highly experienced Director with over 20 years of leadership across Financial Services, Education, and Sport, including 16 years as a successful people leader at the world’s largest building society. Recognised for his relaxed coaching style and ability to inspire individuals and teams to think differently, he brings energy, creativity, and a people-first approach to leadership and development.

Throughout his career, his teams consistently achieved award-winning results for delivering against targets, providing exceptional customer service, and embedding strong risk and compliance cultures where standards were genuinely lived rather than treated as a tick-box exercise. Passionate about developing people, he has built environments where progression is actively encouraged, with clear development plans and multiple internal promotions achieved within his teams.

Away from the office, he remains heavily involved in sport and community leadership, currently coaching a local rugby team following the end of his playing career. He also serves as a School Governor and has worked with and governed a variety of schools across Herefordshire, combining strategic insight with a strong commitment to supporting young people, education, and community development.

Rebecca Wargen

Director

An experienced and dedicated educational leader, she has successfully progressed through leadership roles to lead both a small school with a strong community ethos and a large, complex school environment requiring exceptional organisation, adaptability, and people management. Equally comfortable fostering close relationships within a nurturing school community as she is managing the fast-paced demands of a larger setting, she is recognised for her ability to keep staff, pupils, and priorities aligned to achieve positive outcomes.

A hands-on leader with a visible presence across school life, she combines day-to-day involvement with strategic thinking, ensuring vision and culture are embedded at every level. Her approachable leadership style, commitment to high standards, and focus on supporting both staff and pupils have enabled her to build strong, motivated school communities.

Outside of education, she is a passionate runner and spin enthusiast, having completed the London Marathon, Royal Parks Half Marathon, and Silverstone Half Marathon while raising funds for charities close to her heart. She also serves as a School Governor at another local school, continuing her commitment to education and community development beyond her own leadership role.
