Our HEroes
Bringing dads and male carers into school life, one breakfast at a time.
When dads are missing from school life, children can learn a quiet lesson: that education is someone else’s job. The cost isn’t just lower numbers at parents’ evening. It can show up in a child’s confidence, behaviour and motivation in class.
Our HEroes changes that. Once every half term, we come into your school and run a relaxed 30-minute breakfast session for dads, male carers and their children. We bring the activities, and we bring breakfast too.
We’ve run Our HEroes in five schools so far, and the words we hear most on the day are “fulfilling” and “amazing”.
